Projects of October

Projects of October

OK this may be the most boring post ever, but this helps me to organize what I am doing each month. For some reason if it's written down on paper at my house, it will be thrown away or thrown into one of the many piles I have. So I'm putting it here where I know it won't disappear.

October Goals

1. Halloween Project~ Get as many people as possible to hand out Lyme info on Halloween to the kids and parents. You can order free brochures from the LDA.
2. Auction for Lauren ~ Lauren and her three kids all have Lyme Disease and are struggling to make it. I need to collect items for the auction.

Click Here to go to Auction

3. Mass Auction Across Facebook. Start organizing the "Each for His Own" Auction which will happen in November. Time to raise some Christmas/Treatment/ Bill money for everyone!

4. Crafty Diva~ Keep working on craft shop. Being on disability is really hard to live on. I appreciate it soo much. But it doesn't even cover my basic bills. So I am trying to go back to my old hobby of making crafts. Many years ago I had a little shop when I live in Arizona called, "A Little Country in the Desert." I am trying to renew my passion for painting and being creative, so here's my new online blog and shop.

5. Visit Brittany~  I have not seen my daughter in a couple months and want to go visit her.

Miss you Bipmy <3

6. Keep my holiday blog updated!

Book Description

March 15, 2012
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil...but do no evil. When world's collide, mankind is caught in the middle. Mutant organisms, infectious diseases, contaminated foods, polluted soils and waters, transgenic animals, GM crops, recombinant vaccines, and man-made life forms are all part of today's world of biotechnology. New epidemics have arisen such as Lyme disease, HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, Arthritis, MS, ALS, Chronic Fatigue, and Fibromyalgia which were unheard of just a half century ago. What is causing the emergence of new diseases? To understand current trends, we must examine the past 150 years of man's attempt to improve his environment using chemistry and biotechnology tools. Explore the history of today's technologies and the very real possibility that they may have heralded most of the modern diseases of our day, from Lyme disease to those without a name. Enter a world where diseases are ignored, patients are vilified, and some infectious diseases cannot even be detected by the best laboratory tests. Detecting the undetectable pathogens is the first step to treating diseases of today. Learn what your doctor doesn't even know about one of the most common infections in the world. You may have Lyme disease and not even know it. If you do, this book could be the first step toward getting the help you will need in a medical arena that is highly political, and emotionally charged.

The Fourth Monkey: An Untold History of the Lyme Disease Epidemic

Book Description

January 25, 2011
Did biowarfare cause Lyme disease and other illnesses of our time? This book is a startling history of "biowarfare" as it relates to the emergence of the modern diseases of our era. Learn how the diseases of the past century may hold clues to many well-known medical issues of today including AIDS, Lyme disease, Alzheimer's, Cancers, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes, Chronic Fatigue, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Autism, ADD, Morgellan's, and many more. Learn what insects, pollutants, insect releases, biowarfare testing, the chemical and nuclear age, and engineered microbes and agriculture have to do with human epidemic diseases. Absolutely novel theories on the origin of HIV/AIDS, Lyme disease, and other illnesses are presented which have never before been postulated or published! There is also discussion on the biological control of vertebrates, infertility, mutant bacteriae, fluorides, prions, retroviruses, contaminated cell lines and blood products, and the reactivation of important viruses. This fascinating book provides startling new evidence that will undoubtedly lead to paradigm shifts in thinking about the origins of important infectious diseases, provide helpful clues to new curative treatments; and hints at the roles that industry and government may have played in the emergence of diseases and denied illnesses. Discover the truth behind public health "protections," GMOs, vaccines, biologically altered foods, applied insecticides like "Bt" and its relationship to anthrax, as well as industry tools, toxic pollutants, bioremediation, natural resources, Eugenics, regulations, patented technologies, and chemical and biological weapons of warfare that have been deployed to protect us from insects of medical, agricultural, and veterinary importance. This book will challenge readers to rethink "conspiracy" theories about the origins of illness using the controversial Lyme disease as a model. It also provides an intricate glimpse into some of the roles that the biotech, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries have played over the past century and a half in influencing medicine. Learn how infectious diseases are being denied by some academic scientists who research same; and by some medical professionals among whom are the eyes and ears of the public health services and who may be controlling the information flow about important diseases due to private agendas. Discover also the intensely political arena that global medicine has become today due to an obvious shift from human rights toward industrial rights; and the role that government policy, the insurance industry, multinationals, and even the media are playing in facilitating the global denial of patient illnesses. By the author of leading books on Lyme disease, whose work was part of an historic anti-trust investigation into medical guidelines for Lyme disease and an award-winning medical documentary film. Completely updated and revised edition.

Add a Message for Deepak!

Our dear friend Jenny Rush has a very inspiring blog, Lyme Thriving. In case you haven't seen it yet, you must check it out!  Jenny is one of the people I know who actually got much better. She didn't just do one treatment or the other, she used an approach from the physical and spiritual side. Please check out her blog to read her story and tips on healing.

For right now, Jenny is putting forth an action to get Deepak Chopra involved in our Lyme plight. Deepak has tweeted a post from Jenny's Lyme blog so we are hoping he will be open to help us. We know he is a busy man but wow, what a great person to have on our side, right? So we all have to do our part in reaching out to him.

Jenny has started a post for him on her blog where we can all leave comments for him to read. Please stop by and leave your comment. Let him know what you have gone through. Make sure to keep it a reasonable length though. When things get to lengthy people tend to skin instead of read the whole post.

Starting Samento and Banderol

Ok after reading this article,
In Vitro Effectiveness of Samento and Banderol Herbal Extracts on the Different Morphological Forms of Borrelia Burgdorferi,
I have decided to give herbs a shot again. Today I started with just one drop of Samento and will increase everyday til I'm at ten drops (bid), twice a day for a week. Then I will add in Banderol at the same rate.

I am hoping this along with my juicing/diet regimen will help some of my symptoms or at least allow me to function somewhat. Each morning when I wake up my eyes are swollen and I have such bad head pressure. I am hoping since Samento is an anti-inflammatory, it will give me some relief from this.

I'd love to hear anyone else's experience if you are on this too. Please just leave a message in the comments.

Comparison Between Treatment for Different Conditions

I have been diagnosed with Lyme Disease and I was chatting with my friend who has been diagnosed with MS. As we were comparing notes, he noticed that the treatments for several conditions were pretty much the same. I can't help but to wonder if doctors or researchers are comparing notes too? Are they noticing that these conditions have many of the same symptoms? Do they compare notes like the patients do and realize that no matter what "condition" a researcher is working on, it is coming down to the same treatments?

Let's take a look at just a couple conditions here such as MS, Chlamydial Pneumonia, Lyme and ALS in this post. At the bottom of this post you can click on a further detailed article about other conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Crohn's Disease and Lupus.

I think there is a lot of "labels" thrown around for different conditions. But basically what they all have in common is "inflammation." Doesn't all disease start with inflammation? But what seems to be missing is the "cause" to said conditions. Is it an infectious agent such as Lyme Disease, Chlamydial Pneumonia or Epstein Barr? Is it a combination of infectious agents and possible elements from our environment such as pesticides and toxins in our food. Why do some people get sick but not others, is it that we are predisposed to some condition because of our genes?

And which factors do we need to change, add antibiotics in, take bad diet out? What is going to be the ultimate solution here?

Is Multiple Sclerosis Curable?

 http://perfecthealthdiet.com/2010/07/multiple-sclerosis-a-curable-infectious-disease/

Paul Le Gac noticed similarities between multiple sclerosis and symptoms developed in the aftermath of diseases like Rocky Mountain spotted fever and typhus caused by Rickettsia bacteria. [2] Rickettsia are obligate intracellular parasites that cannot survive outside a host. By 1966, Le Gac recognized that the Chlamydiae, another order of intracellular parasitic bacteria, might be responsible for MS.

Le Gac tried treating multiple sclerosis with tetracyclines and other broad spectrum antibiotics, and reported a number of cures. Here is one of his case studies:

http://perfecthealthdiet.com/2010/07/multiple-sclerosis-a-curable-infectious-disease/
Mr. Maurice Q., a Belgian citizen, 46 years of age. Multiple sclerosis was manifested in 1955 by transient retrobulbar neuritis. In 1956 he became bedridden. As of November 1961, [he had been] totally quadriplegic for three years….
Antibiotic treatment and alginated baths were followed, within a few months, by a spectacular improvement.
In May 1962, Mr. Q. was walking normally. He was able to discard all assistive devices, and soon afterward went back to work as a freight–truck driver.

The Perfect Storm

People always ask me why I named my blog, "The Perfect Storm." Well the answer is because I don't think that what is making us sick is "just" Lyme. I believe it is a combination of factors. I believe it is bacteria, viruses, pollution, toxins, chemicals, pesticides, chem trails and a whole slew of other things that factor in to chronic illness. Thus creating, "The Perfect Storm," for us to become chronically ill.

I think that is why many of us don't seem to be getting better. It may have all been set off by a tick bite, or however you might of gotten exposed to Lyme, but that is only the beginning of this story. What happens next seems to spiral into a much more complex beast.

I don't believe there is a cure for what we have yet. I don't believe we know exactly what it even is yet.  I do believe we need more research.

But on that note, I do believe we can do certain things to help us to heal. I believe changing our lifestyle and diet is #1. But that's a whole other blog and journey I am embarking on. If you would like to follow that please visit "Eating My Way To Better Health.
